about me :

I'm a writer, and I love to write. Novels, stories, poetry—literature is my religion. I'm a firm believer in shooting stars, eyelash wishes, and four-leaf clovers. When I talk to myself, I break out into random accents. The previews are my favorite part about going to the movies. I have a tendency to be a dork. I live as if my life is a TV show. I randomly repeat movie lines in my normal daily conversation. I’m determined and headstrong. I create my own self. I invent my own story. I believe that you can’t embarrass yourself if you don’t care what other people think. I see my own ability to change the world. My ultimate goal in life is to make a difference—an impact. I am a firm believer in shooting stars, four-leaf clovers, and eyelash wishes. 


As a native to the South, I grew up in Alabama and spent most of my life in the greater Chattanooga, Tennessee area. I hold a BS in Marketing from Jacksonville State University and an AA in English from Northeast Alabama Community College. Selected works of my poetry have been published in the award-winning, literary magazine Aurora.
